Investor forums overview

Once you complete an investment on the CrowdStreet Marketplace, each deal has a dedicated Investor Forum, which is a message board for investors in the same deal to communicate with each other. Besides messaging other investors in the deal, investors can post questions about their investment, and some sponsors use the forum to communicate updates.

To access the Investor Forums, log into your CrowdStreet account and then click on “Portfolio” on the top left of the screen.

Each of the deals you have invested in will have its own Investor Room. Click on "View Investor Room" next to the specific deal.

Once in the Investor Room, click on "View Forum"

Start browsing forum posts, create a new topic, or subscribe to the forum to be notified via email when there are updates.

Please note that a Forum Post is not a request to CrowdStreet or the sponsor. If you would like to reach out to the sponsor directly, please use the “Ask Question” feature, located in the Investor Room.

To start a new topic in the forum, click on the “Post A Topic” button at the top.

Enter in the Topic Subject and the Topic Body, then click the “Post Topic” button. Check the “Subscribe to Topic” box if you would like to be notified by email when anyone posts a reply in this topic.

To add a comment to an existing topic, click on the gold arrow button in the top right corner of the message you are replying to.

Type in your response and then click the “Post Response” button.

To subscribe to a forum for email notifications when there are new posts, click the “Subscribe to Forum” button.
