Can international, foreign or non-US citizens invest on CrowdStreet?

To invest through the CrowdStreet Marketplace, you must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Be a U.S. Citizen or Resident Alien 
  • Meet U.S. accreditation requirements
  • Provide identifiable information to complete an AML/KYC check

If you are not a U.S. Citizen or Resident Alien, but would like to invest via a U.S.-based entity (either a corporation or an LLC), that entity must:

  • Meet U.S. accreditation requirements
  • Provide identifiable information to complete an AML/KYC check
  • Be taxed in the US as a corporation or a partnership (but not be a disregarded entity)
  • Have a U.S. taxpayer ID
  • Draw on a U.S. bank account
  • Provide entity documentation
  • Additionally, all entity members must have individual U.S. taxpayer IDs or SSNs.

Please note that even if you fit the above criteria, all offers are subject to sponsor approval and AML, KYC, and KYB checks.
